Passion and authenticity

Stalwarts of blues and americana

Last Call

Last Call are stalwarts of the Blues and Americana scene. Richard Batemen started his musical career as part of the British Blues/Rock and Roll invasion of Germany in the 1960s- and yes, he did play the Star Club in Hamburg. Keith Walmsley-Smith's pedigree includes working with Ray Davies of the Kinks. Together they were in a band with Ric Lee from legendary Blues giants Ten Years After. Nowadays they play in different combos, but love the opportunity to get back together and play the old blues as 'Last Call'. Expect the blues as it should be -with passion and authenticity. Keith's bottleneck guitar, Ric's harmonica and a whole gutbucket of vocals will carry you back to the delta. No-one can play the blues like Blind Willie McTell, but Last Call have a fair go!
